Comfort, control, confidence
The NovaSure ADVANCED and CLASSIC devices, which include a 3-dimensional bipolar electrode, deliver continuous suction to ensure proper contact with the endometrium and to remove vaporized tissue. An integrated proactive safety test is performed prior to the delivery of radiofrequency (RF) energy; insufflating the cavity using CO2, the system can detect pressure leaks to confirm uterine cavity integrity. The assessment is sensitive enough to detect a perforation as small as an 18-gauge needle.
Both the NovaSure CLASSIC device and the NovaSure ADVANCED device are designed to deliver maximum patient comfort and give you complete control at every step1*:
Smooth Access™ Tips
Smooth Access tips require significantly less manipulation, providing greater comfort to your patients. The NovaSure ADVANCED device has rounded tips for easier insertion.†
The sheath material is designed to provide maximum durability, especially at higher temperatures. The NovaSure ADVANCED device has a smaller diameter than the NovaSure CLASSIC device and requires less dilation.
SureFit™ Cervical Seal
SureFit cervical seal is designed from a soft material contributing to procedure efficiency and patient comfort. The NovaSure ADVANCED device provides an increased sealing surface.2
Ergonomic Thumb Tab
With its ergonomic thumb tab, the device gives you greater leverage and control of the cervical collar.
The NovaSure device delivers a customized ablation, ensuring optimal results based on the patient's individual uterine cavity length and width.
Proactive safety cavity integrity assessment evaluates uterine cavity integrity prior to procedure. Our Moisture TransportTM fluid removal system maintains contact between the uterus and the array, while simultaneously evacuating by-products of the procedure, preventing uterine distention. Removal of steam during the procedure is essential to maintaining a controlled ablation.
†Based on internal bench testing that measured perceived ease of insertion through a simulated cervix of both the 6-mm and 8-mm devices. N=16 surgeon users.
